Description:

The Fresno County District Attorney’s Office is looking for an experienced, innovative law enforcement professional with the highest integrity to serve as the Chief of Investigations. The Chief of Investigations, reporting to the District Attorney, plans, organizes, and manages the activities of the Bureau of Investigations; supervises internal affairs investigations; and oversees the more sensitive, complex, or difficult investigations. The District Attorney Investigator classification series is utilized in the Bureau of Investigations, which is headed by the Chief of Investigations. The Bureau of Investigations is divided into six divisions: Major Crimes, Financial Crimes, Public Aid Investigation, General Investigation, Family Protection and Special Investigation. As a condition of employment, candidates must undergo and pass a thorough background investigation, polygraph, medical and psychological examination.
