San Luis Obispo County is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and experienced leader to serve as the Deputy Director, Registrar of Voters! This critical role is at the heart of our democratic process, ensuring that local elections are conducted with integrity, transparency, and fairness. As Deputy Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the administration of elections countywide, managing voter services, and leading a team committed to upholding the highest standards of electoral process and voter participation.

Qualifications:

A combination of education, training, and experience resulting in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of qualifying education and experience includes: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, or a closely related field AND shall have four years of increasingly responsible experience administering a voter registration and elections program with two of the years including supervisory experience.
