Qualifications:

Education Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college/university with major in construction management, facilities planning, engineering, business administration, construction technology, or closely related field. Experience may be substituted up to two years of the education at a rate of two years of experience to one year of education. Experience Facility Project Specialist I: In addition to the education requirements, four years of responsible experience in construction project management and capital projects planning; managing the construction and design of small to moderate size capital improvement and construction projects, ($50,000-$300,000). Facility Project Specialist II: In addition to the education requirements, four years of experience in construction project management and capital projects planning; managing the construction and design of small to moderate size capital improvement and construction projects, ($50,000 – $300,000); and two years of managing progressively complex projects exceeding $300,000; or two years as a Facility Project Specialist I with Mendocino County
